Piper Does D.C.

It's been a fun filled couple of weeks. Amy went out of town for four nights for work and Piper developed some strange new habits while she was gone. She began sleeping in weird positions like the picture shows below - if you look closely you will see her finger is in her ear.



She has also started pulling up from sitting. She can now get both feet underneath her and stand up pretty well while holding on to something. She stands for a minute or two and then lets a hand go and plops down onto her bottom.



We just got back from a trip up to Washington D.C. to see Kurt's brother Craig and his family as well as his friend Dave and his family. We spent Friday with Dave's wife Maisi and their bundle Kylie, who is two. We took a lovely trip up the potomac river and saw some of the requisite D.C. sites, like the Washington Monument.





We spent the weekend with Kurt's brother Craig, his wife Michelle and their two boys Jackson and Austen. We got to watch Jackson play flag football (he's really good!) and spent Mother's Day at their home. Piper had a great time meeting her new aunt, uncle and cousins.
