Greetings from Chattanooga!

She just won't leave Texas behind - check out those cowboy boots!!

Well, we made it - it was wild and crazy but we finally got moved to Chattanooga. We are still in the thick of unpacking but we are happy to be here! Stella handled the move like a champ while Piper had a little rougher time of it. She kept asking for her "regular house" and we explained to her that this is our new "regular house" and that somebody else lives in our old "regular house". She's totally confused but is getting more adjusted each day. The 14 hour drive from Dallas to Kingston went pretty well considering we did it all in one day. After Mr. Potato Head we ran out of things to do so we decided to put stickers all over our faces...desperate times call for desperate measures...I am still pulling stickers out of the car!

The crazy thing is that last week Piper decided to start wearing big girl panties. So, we had two messy days last week and since then have had a great time going on the potty and I dare say we are potty trained, which is fabulous!!

Here are some pictures of Stella for those of you who have been HOUNDING me for them!! She continues to be a wonderful little baby who just goes with the flow and eats and sleeps very well - what have we done to deserve her??

This is Stella sleeping with my parents dog named Chloe...

We were so blessed that Amy's mom was able to come out for the week we moved - she was a tremendous help - there was no way we could have done it without her. Here she is taking a siesta with Stella...

Before we left our "regular house" Piper decided to make Stella her baby doll and put her in her baby doll stroller...she fits perfectly!

In between leaving Texas and moving to Tennessee we had the honor of attending Kurt's brother's retirement ceremony. He retired from the Army after 20+ years. It was a great opportunity to introduce Stella to his family as well as Kurt's beloved Aunt Pat, Uncle John and cousin, Katie. Unfortuantely I don't have any pictures to share but will get some and post them on the next update.

Here's a picture of Piper doing her new favorite thing - riding on Pop's boat...

As you may have heard, Chattanooga has tons of fun things to do for kids. Kurt took Piper to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo train exhibit last weekend - they had a great time...doesn't she look cute - she is ready for her "adventure with Daddy"!

We also enjoyed Coolidge Park in Downtown Chattanooga - they have a beautiful hand-carved carousel as well as a gigantic fountain the kids can play in!

Even though there is tons to do in Chattanooga, sometimes all you need is a can of shaving cream and a hose - add in a good rain shower and you just might end up naked like Piper did - she kept asking "Mommy, why don't you take your clothes off? It's fun!" I agreed that it probably was fun but decided to spare the world and stayed clothed...

That's all there is to share right now - thanks for reading!
