I am going to try to set a blogging record - get through 4 months of life with our kids as fast as possible...here goes...
August is the month that got away - I got a new camera and don't have any pictures for that month - needless to say the girls started school and Stella joined Piper at the Montessori School this year. They are both doing great and we are thankful to have them back on that routine.
In September, we went on our yearly beach vacation to Destin, FL with Amy's parents. We celebrated Piper's 4th birthday at the beach (lucky kid) and she got a lot of cool stuff including a bride's costume (we know - it's kinda creepy but what are you going to do??) We had a birthday party when we got home from the beach with a bunch of her friends. The party was held at the Little Gym and everyone had a great time.
Just before Halloween we got a little kitten - we named him Diego. We rescued him from a local animal shelter. Well, rescued may be a bit strong since the girls torture him but he lives with us now.
Next was Halloween. Piper went as Ariel, Stella went as Heidi and I went as my standard "evil queen", which is Piper's loving nickname for me.
In early November we got our first and hopefully only snow. It was gone by lunch which is my kind of snow - short and sweet! The girls loved it though - especially Stella since it was her first!
Then came Thanksgiving which was very low key for us. We had Amy's parents over for Thanksgiving dinner. As usual, the kids and the cat were cute:
Finally we get to Christmas! We had a great Christmas season with Nicky and Amy's parents in attendance. Most of these pictures are from Christmas morning. The girls got a 'roller coaster' from Santa that the whole family enjoyed (except the animals)...we hope yours was filled with love and laughter!
